“Amazing day ! We got lucky to see an amazing spectacle of whales !”

“The whale watching itself was great, we saw quite a few. But this excursion was advertised as 3.25 hours. We didn’t leave the marina until 10:00 am and were back by 12:30 pm. We could have spent more time watching the whales instead of rushing to drop guests off at Bacardi Island.”

“Watching the whales was worth the trip. It was amazing to watch them so close! If I had to do this again, I would choose one excursion without the Lemon Cascade. The Lemon Cascade is beautiful too, but you have to walk up and down 280 steps each way, and for me it would have been better to stop in a beach instead.”

“The pick up from the hotel was good however the journey to the boat was poor, we rode a bus for 20/30 minutes to stop at a petrol station were no information was provided to say we was waiting for another bus to pick us up. Once we got picked up the bus broke down as it had smashed into a huge metal plate in the road. That was not there fault but our tour guide Thomas was just a poor excuse for a tour guide he. It was a Spanish/English tour but Not much English was spoken. When we got of the bus he did say follow me return…”

“El anuncio dice que veras ballenas, pero el guia nos indico que solo es de Enero a Marzo. Aún asi, la excursión es increible, mismo si fuimos con publicidad engañosa. La recomiendo en cualquier epoca del año, mejor que punta cana o isla Saona. Verdaderamente increible!!”

“They didn't even come and pick us up from the hotel lobby. We were waiting for 40mins before they contacted us saying "your money will be refunded" We were not late to the pick up point, in fact there 5mins early. Awful communication”

“We got a lot of great pictures of the whales. only negative was how rough it was. The tour had zero control over the water but I state it so people could be prepared with extra dramamine ahead of time. It was an A+ tour we would love to use this company a second time.”

“Barbara was so professional organising today as our original trip was cancelled due to adverse weather. We had moved resorts and she put it all together in a short time . It was brilliant and we were so lucky to see the whales . The team was amazing and customer service is spot on”

“Walvissen spotten was leuk, maar op een te volle boot. Eilandgevoel was niet wat ik er van verwacht had. Heel erg druk en vol met toeristen. Geen bountyeilandgevoel gehad. Er zijn mooiere plekken om dit gevoel te hebben. Eten was middelmatig. Dus eigelijk te veel hiervoor betaald.”

“I was crying, it was so beautiful! i was hesitant to go on a whale watching tour at first because of the whales wellbeeing but i am so happy that I went with them. They made sure, that not too many boats drive after the whales and gave the animals lots of space to not intimidate the whales. from the beginning to the end, the tour was perfect, the guides great and informative. We absolutely loved it!”

“Partis à 6h15 de l’hôtel pour arriver à 10h00 au port alors qu’il y a 2 heures de route. 1h00 d’attente pour avoir le bateau. Dans le bateau on est serrés comme des sardines, ils disent 4 personnes par banquette mais il faudrait tenir compte de la corpulence de certains passagers très nombreux sur ces excursions. Donc à l’arrière vous ne voyez absolument pas la mer et quand enfin vous approchez des baleines si elles sont du côté opposé vous ne voyez rien, vous les voyez 10 secondes quand le bateau tourne. En plus plusieurs personnes malades qui demandent à rejoindre la terre ferme, pas de sac à vomi dans…”

“le point de rdv n'était pas celui indiqué heureusement les dominicains sont gentils et se connaissent bien et nous on bien aidé. le départ s'est fait 1h après l'horaire de rdv soit 10h. de plus le bateau ne me semble pas approprié pour l'observation des baleines sans qu'on se dérange s'il y a du monde sur le bateau. la mer était agitée nous n'avons pas vu beaucoup de baleines et le bateau est vite parti. sachant que nous avions pris la demi journée seulement. Le bateau a quand même été au cayo levantado et nous sommes reparti avec un autre bateau car seulement 3 a ne pas participer à la…”

“Pick up from my hotel was seamless (if a little early). The whales were great. The ride there was interesting. Loved lunch and time on the beach. Nacho told us some history of the island. Two recommendations, provide the guides with some information about whales and please don’t introduce politics into the trip.”
